Just wanted to share some photos of the cupboard we recently added to
Vintage Lifestyle.
Since we began selling vintage goods through Vintage Lifestyle in 2002 we have re-done and restored many of these wonderful, practical cupboards. They really have become quite popular with those looking for free standing units for authentic vintage kitchens.
This one, being unpainted, makes it a little more unique and very suited to painted kitchens or traditonal country wooden kitchens.

It has so many nice details....like the little spice containers in their "holders" on each side of the center section....

And a groove for displaying pretty plates....

The cut out shape "holders" for tea, sugar, coffee, rice, flour etc. This cupboard originally would have come with the tins but are now missing. I do think it would be fun though to start looking for the replacements! (a great excuse to shop for more vintage!)....

There are hooks for cups on each side of the upper section....
There is a useful cutlery drawer....

And a small tin cupboard below where food was stored if it it needed to be kept cool.

Of course there is so much room for storage too...
If you would like more information about this wonderful cupboard please feel free to email me or simply go to www.vintagelifestyle.co.uk .

Oh Kelly I have always loved the natural color of wood. It always looks so lusterous and rich.I would love to buy this cupboard but it would be hard to mail to the USA. haha Maybe I will be able to find some of those cupboards here. Another great find , good luck with all your finds and I will live through your shop. God Bless always
I've never had the kitchen I wanted (or needed) but when I do, a piece like that would be perfect! Some day... :)
I was brought up with cabinets like these - I can still picyure my Auntie rolling out pastry on the section which dropped down.
Fabulous Kelly! Its almost a complete kitchen in one cupboard!

Wonderful cupboard but no place to put it!
Best wishes,
Jennie
That takes me back to my kitchen in a Leicestershire village, I had one of those, it was lemon yellow and white. I had that and a sink and that was it, so they really do work hard for what they are. Love it.
love that kitchen with the wonderful decoration. thank you regards
